Winter photography is just magical…

I went on a photography excursion a few weeks ago and it was FREEZING! At the time I was just thinking I’m cold, I better be getting some good shots out of this. And I’m happy to say that I definitely got some awesome shots! Winter photography is quickly becoming one of my favorite types of fine art photography. I love the snowflakes and the icicles and the snow on the trees.

I was able to visit Grand Teton National Park on the excursion. It was January so for hours I couldn’t tell where the Tetons were at all. It was just white fog everywhere. The fog definitely added to the beauty of winter photography, but when it finally cleared and I got to see the Tetons… WOW! What an awesome blessing that we were able to see them completely free of fog and clouds. That never happens!

These are my favorite photo from the excursion so far. Let me know what you think!

  1. Page, I really love the images that you were able to capture. My favorite one is between the sunrise shining over the road, or the one where you were able to capture the freezing fog on the trees. They both have really great composition. Awesome job!
