This week I was able to help out some friends and do a photo shoot with them. They have some big news that they want to share but they haven’t actually told anyone about it yet, except for their photographer!
So for the sake of their secret I won’t be putting up any photos of their faces until they’ve announced their special news.
I had a lot of fun on this shoot. The weather wasn’t the greatest -all of us were freezing- so we tried to be quick while we were shooting outside. But the overcast sky led to some nice lighting for the shoot altogether.
I used my kit lens and a zoom lens during this photo shoot. I hadn’t really had the opportunity to shoot with my zoom lens on a shoot until this one so that was a lot of fun.
I created this graphic to figure out how some of the details of the shoot would go before hand. I also had a shared Pinterest board with my client so that we could share ideas back and forth. We had our shoot on March 22nd. The weather wasn’t what we were expecting but it turned out to work in our favor. I also thought we would go to the park, but we just stayed around downtown and used all of the colors to our advantage. I was able to have the edited photos ready to go to my client that night! I’ve never been able to do that that fast, but I’m glad I did in this case.
Enjoy! There will be more to come when I don’t feel like I’m going to give their identities away 🙂
