A creative resume to handout to potential employers and clients
Hi, my name is Page Williams. I am a professional photographer and designer. I am a student at Brigham Young University – Idaho studying Communication. My emphasis is visual communication and I am minoring in photography. I am a senior expecting to graduate in April of 2017.
I love to go on photo shoots. Being able to take a great photo is a skill that I have been working on for four years now and it’s something that I am proud of. When I first got into photography I liked to take photos of flowers and random things that I found. Now, I love to do shoots for clients. Portraits are my favorites because I think those shoots are the most fun! But I love all kinds of photography, especially food.
The first time I shot food I was fortunate enough to do so at a restaurant in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and I had a blast. It’s something that I want to pursue and plan to improve on as well.
I’m a book worm, a lover of sleep and someone who has a lot of fun with her camera. I look forward to working with you!
This week’s post is focused on my creative resume handout. A while ago I made a design for a personal business card. To keep continuity, I decided to base my creative resume’s design on my business card. While I was designing my business card I went for something simple and based off of a photo. I wanted to keep the same concept while creating my creative resume.
I decided on a simple accordion style paper with my information and photos displayed on it. I put my business card on the front so it would be the first thing the eye saw. Next I added photos, education, goals and skills to the design using Adobe Illustrator.
The last step in the process of bringing my creative resume to life was print it with the help of the lovely people at Alpha Graphics! Printing is still on-going as I try to find the perfect paper, but look at the beautiful first round. I hope you like it!
I love the images that you were able to take of your creative resume. You did a fantastic job also designing your resume. You have done a great job with all of your photography as well as your design skills. Haleigh also did a great job with her resume as well. http://www.haleighklewis.com/creative-resume-handout/
