Recently I wanted to do something special for my parents. They had birthdays coming up and I thought it would be fun to create a card for them rather than buy something at the store. They have a cute little dog named Chewie. He’s a talker. But not a barker. this guy likes to growl to get his point across. 

Chewie has been part of the family for four years now and this year I decided to use him as my inspiration for a birthday card for his mom and dad. I went with a cutesy feel that I knew my dad would laugh at – the last word I would use to describe Chewie (despite his size and breed) is cutesy. After creating an avatar of the little guy, I added in his signature catch phrase. The front of the cards feature the cute pup, and the insides say “Grrr means I love you in ‘Chewie'”. The cards were a hit; my dad still has his next to his laptop in his office. Now I’m off to make a version featuring my own little mutt!
