1940s women’s fashion at it’s finest.
Taking photos of the ladies in their 1940s fashion was such a treat. I felt like I had just walked onto the set of a new movie. The most difficult thing about taking shots of the ladies was posing. I was always tempted to put them on the planes and the wings but that’s not really where the women were back in the 1940s. So I tried fun poses with the cars and some with planes too; in my head they’re waiting for their pilot beau to come over to his plane.
Again I was shooting with speedlights and Einsteins during this shoot and I was shooting at f/ 3.5 and ISO 100. I had a lot of fun shooting and editing these photos and I really love a lot of them, especially the ones in this post. Check out this cool site to but decade clothing: click here.
